iAreaNet Expands Infrastructure with 10,000 Square Foot Data Center

(Brooklyn, NY) – iAreaNet today announced the completion of a project to acquire additional data center resources to support its suite of fully integrated cloud-based office tools for small- to mid-size businesses. This infrastructure expansion is further demonstration of iAreaNet's commitment to aggressive growth in 2013.

The total of 16,000 square foot center provides iAreaNet customers increased data security and consistency as main center is located in New Jersy and second data center is in Atlanta, Georgia over 900 miles away. The geographic separation of this new infrastructure ensures businesses relying on the iAreaNet platform will experience continued productivity in the event of regional outages due to maintenance, weather, system failures or disaster.

"The potential for downtime is virtually eliminated with the addition of this dual site data center configuration."

Data centers house servers that run business-critical technologies, such as those offered by iAreaNet. The Atlanta data center utilizes high-efficiency hardware allowing iAreaNet to maximize cost savings they can pass on to their customers. The facilities are certified SAS70 Type II Compliant, a third-party audited certification that assures strict adherence to quality control and data security processes. Security measures include 24x7 on-site personnel monitoring critical systems and automated monitoring of power, environmental and fire detection systems.
